Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Clinic?

We partner with different local public programs, such as senior centers, to schedule a date for a clinic. The center provides a sign up sheet for your convenience and we are already set up there to provide services during your timeslot. This arrangement allows us to provide nail care to those that remain independant without the cost associated with a home visit.

What types of payment to you accept?

We do not accept insurance - as routine nail care is not typically covered. However, we do accept all other major forms of payment - cash, check, credit/debit card, and now HSA/FSA cards.

Do you service my area?

We primarily based in Beaver and Allegheny counties but we are not limited to those areas. We have several nurses providing services so each nurse is able to consider their own travel areas. Although we are based in Pennsylvania, we are able to serve some areas of Ohio and West Virginia - please contact us for more information.

Isn't this just a pedicure?

A pedicure is a beauty product that often feels good. If you are in good health that is one thing, but calluses, corns, thick nails, peeling skin and pain in feet are actually not normal and may be indicative of other problems.

What does a visit include?

During each visit, we conduct a thorough assessment of your shoes, socks, balance, skin and pulses to put together a picture of your foot health. We will reduce and shape nails to optimal functioning, address any corns and calluses, perform circulation enhancing massage to improve skin health, and share nursing knowledge.
